The trout are as fresh as I've never had them. Excellent in taste, beautiful salads generous but perfect in taste. Service is super nice, quick and professional. A tavern like few left, unfortunately. Here the boss personally comes to the table. Chapeau to these innkeepers who know how to make a guest happy. The building is a real feast for the eyes and has been restored with great attention to detail. Toilets are really super nice in design. Bravo! I've been coming here for 40 years and I hope I can continue to do so for the next 40. Thank you for food and drink.

Probably the most rustic restaurant in the vicinity. Incredibly great service and delicious food!

Great location. You can eat very tasty trout from your own farm, or good plain fare (sausage salad, etc.). Quaint ambience in a half-timbered house. Sufficient parking space. There is also something for the children. You can see the trout in their ponds and also feed them. Smaller enclosures with turtles and rabbits are also available. You can spend your time here for a while and the children are thrilled.

It's very nice there at the rye mill, except for the horses, everything else is a bit stubborn. There are many opportunities to do something with children. The offer of food is sufficient and tastes good.

Super delicious food. Fish, deer, wild boar ... everything at its finest. Staff very friendly and it doesn't take long until you have your food on the table from the moment you order it. The ambience is really nice. The outside area is also great for children. Definitely worth a visit or two.

The Obere Roggenmühle offers delicious trout dishes from its own farm. It is served miller style, blue or smoked. One could imagine a little more variety of dishes, on the other hand the kitchen is very flexible when it comes to the variation of the side dishes. There are also meat dishes and vegetarian options. The restaurant, which offers a rustic atmosphere in the half-timbered structure, is unique. The aromatic herbal liqueur is also recommended. The trout are also available to go.

It was ok, nothing more. The fish was great, the organization was all in all non-existent. The location is a beer garden without any charm. The pony / horse riding was completely disorganized. But the surrounding area is definitely worth a visit 👍

Nice restaurant for an hour or two, good cake. Horseback riding for children, on weekends a reservation for the horses is advisable. Fish feed for the farmed trout can be bought for 20 cents.

Beautiful there. Wouldn't like to go anymore. But I'm also incredibly sorry for the horses that are ready to ride. Look very worn out. My heart hurt then .. please see that you will be better in the future. Kind regards ♡

Trout like out of a picture book. I hadn't eaten trout "blue" ... in a long time, it tasted great. My husband had roast wild boar which was tender as butter and also very good in taste. Keep it up!!!

Swabian cuisine as it should be. Super nice service. It goes without saying that the wasps want to enjoy too ... Muggebatscher is provided by the house.

A great destination for the whole family! Trout feeding is a real spectacle. Unfortunately we were there when the hot kitchen was closed in the afternoon, but the sausage salad was also good 😃

Beautifully located near Geislingen. Fresh trout to eat in the restaurant (crispy trout miller style) and to take away. Large area with fish ponds, playground and beautiful corners. There is a restaurant in the house and a nice beer garden.

Rustic and tasty. Small menu but that's a good thing. With the dishes on offer, you can tell that they are from the region, or even the fish from our own farm! In addition, the staff is very friendly and it is very comfortable as soon as you enter.

Very ingenious restaurant with a great leisure time character if you are traveling with children. We had excellent food and everyone was very happy with the delicious food. There is also a very nice and cozy beer garden. Children can ride ponies, watch fish farming, feed fish for a small fee, pet alpacas, watch ducks and let off steam in the playground. There are enough parking spaces. It was a great afternoon with you 👍

Recommended, good and inexpensive cuisine, friendly service. Trout miller is recommended. People who can go there a week should do it!

Lovely place to visit...spend time and eat good food...

We searched for a restaurant on Google Maps where you can eat trout and decided on the right restaurant. There is a beautiful large beer garden, playground, 3 free-running alpacas and a cozy restaurant. The trout was very tasty and you can also order it filleted. If we are in the vicinity again, it is pretty certain that we will eat there again.

Great beer garden, but loads of flys. Not for people who can't climb stairs.

Great place with delicious food and friendly atmosphere. There is a lot to discover about this place. Few miles up the hills, you can observe beautiful landscapes and wild animals such as raptors and deer. I would really recommend this place for anyone. Hope they introduce B&B for their customers in near future.
